About: your 1Home distributor in France

We distribute the 1Home range in France: gateways and servers that open a wired smart-home installation to apps, voice assistants and Matter. We sell hardware and advise on the choice — we do not install.

The French wired smart-home market has a structural flaw: serious documentation is in English or German, prices are opaque, and pre-purchase advice barely exists. People buy a gateway hoping it fits, and find out at commissioning that it does not.

We exist to close that gap: check before selling, explain in French, and stay reachable after the sale.

01Who we are

The publisher's legal information will appear on the legal notice page as soon as it is received.

02Why the 1Home range

Choosing a range is not neutral for a distributor: it commits several years of technical support and stock. Three reasons weighed.

  1. Coverage of the three ecosystems that matter: KNX, Loxone and Crestron Home are served by the same range, which is rare — and allows genuinely neutral advice between them.
  2. A Matter orientation that is not a late addition but an axis of the range, which matters for the longevity of a purchase.
  3. An honest scope: a gateway that exposes an installation, without claiming to replace the automation that runs it.

03What the French channel changes

This is not a criticism of the manufacturer: it is the normal role of a distributor. The after-sales detail is on the support and warranty page.

04Our commitments

  • Check before selling. An order we doubt is an order we delay long enough for a conversation.
  • State the limits. What a product does not do is written on every sheet, in the same place as what it does.
  • Invent nothing. No figure, testimonial or compatibility we cannot source. The « ask us » chips on this site are acknowledged areas of uncertainty, not omissions.
  • Explain plainly. The guides on this site are written to be read by someone who is not an electrician.
  • Stay reachable after the sale — the only moment when a distributor is really judged.

These commitments are demanding on one point: they forbid us from displaying proof we do not have. You will therefore find no client logo banner, no reviews and no unsourced figure on this site — see also our guides, which follow the same rule.

05What we will not do

A distributor that only ever says yes is a shop, not an adviser. These are the limits we hold, and they are as much part of the offer as the catalogue.

  • We do not publish a figure we cannot source. Where a capacity or a market price is not documented, the page says so instead of showing a plausible number.
  • We do not sell a gateway to someone who does not need one. Several of our guides conclude that the honest answer is to change nothing.
  • We do not install. We distribute hardware and advise on the choice; commissioning belongs to your installer or integrator.
  • We do not invent compatibility. Where official documentation does not state a scope, the page carries an « ask us » chip rather than a green tick.

These rules cost sales, and they are the reason the advice is worth something. Anyone can quote a reference; the value is in the cases where we tell you not to buy it.

Frequently asked questions

Are you the manufacturer or a reseller?

We are a distributor in France: we sell, advise, warrant and handle after-sales. Design and manufacturing of the range are the work of the 1Home brand.

Do you carry out installations?

No. We supply hardware and sizing advice. When a professional is needed for commissioning, we say so rather than selling at any cost.

Why is some information missing from this site?

Because we prefer a stated uncertainty to an invented fact. Every « ask us » or « to be published » corresponds to data we have not yet been able to verify at source.
